New Years Eve 2019 – Sophia & Milo’s Ravington Wedding
New Years Eve 2019 – Sophia & Milo’s Ravington Wedding
It was my last wedding of the year. Of the decade. This decade that ushered in my transition from primarily birth and portrait photography to being solely an Arkansas wedding photographer, and then saw nearly 200 sweet couples get married in front of my camera. I learned so much and I had times of struggle, but even more times of breathtaking happiness that I get to do what I love for a living. My career – heck, my LIFE – is forever changed by all that transpired over the last 10 years.
It’s really difficult to find words to describe how incredible Milo and Sophia’s gorgeous wedding was. It was brisk and chilly outside but just one step inside the door of the Ravington made it clear – this place was warm. Not just because the chill was gone from the air, but because it had that quiet warmth that you feel when a caring team of vendors and loving family members all gather in one place to make someone’s dream day happen. Jessica and her team bustled around setting tables and executing the plans they’ve worked on for a year. Emma was perfectly perched up on a ladder attaching greenery to suspended lines above the dance floor. Mike and Todd tirelessly carried production gear and crates to set up for a fun and memorable reception.
And Milo and Sophia? These lovebirds are some of the most kind and classy people you’ll ever meet. Their love for each other and their beautiful energy for the people they love is evident from the moment you first meet them. Is it any wonder that they have so many people who want to give them the world?
Take a few minutes and scroll these photos to see a little snapshot of their perfectly wonderful NYE wedding (and be sure to stop for a sec at the bottom to check out their amazing team of vendors). I’m so glad I got to be there!!
